Pics of My Open House
5:00 AM
I commonly get questions about my open houses.
I have multiple stations throughout my house and people love to come over, work at their own pace, and make their projects.
I set up 4-6 stations throughout my first floor of my house ... either in the formal dining room, the living room, the family room, or the kitchen.
Here are pictures from my Open House last weekend:
Here is my welcome table ... I basically just have catalogs, raffle slips (and the raffle prize), envelopes for projects, fliers of the specials, and order forms ready and waiting.
Here is my dining room that has 8 stations and 2 projects ready and waiting for the guests.
I pre-cut all of my supplies and have all of the necessities on the table.
I also type up the step-by-step instructions with a picture and put that in a frame at each station.
If I happen to get busy elsewhere in the house the guest can always refer to the instructions for help.
This also allows the guest to do the projects self-paced in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
This is the embossing station ... guests will occasionally have to get up from their station to emboss.
This keeps the embossing powder (or glitter) confined to one area .. and easier to clean up :)
This is the die cutting station ... I basically do this because I have one die-cutting machine.
I can have all of the dies out at the die cutting station and they can come to this station for more than one project. It works out quite well.
Here is another station just off of my kitchen.
Here is another station in my family room.
I am constantly walking around seeing who needs help and talking up the product during the open house.
I also have a spot in my living room for people to peruse the catalog and place their order.
There also is a spot that showcased all of the projects that we recently made at the National Conference.
The gals who come regularly, love this format and commonly ask what the projects the next month are going to be!!! I enjoy providing them a place to come hang out and be creative with me!
If you live in the Illinois/Wisconsin area, I would LOVE for you to join us at my next event!
