Memo Holder Swaps ....

Just returned from Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

We had the A Muse Studio National Conference there.

These were a few of the swaps that I made ....
picture frames turned into desk organizers with pencils.
I watercolored with Splash the new stamp set called Bouquet of Love.

I covered the pencils with washi tape.

I really love the way that this turned out!!!!

Oh .... and this happened ......

ENJOY!!!!

Get your Zumba on ...

You might or might not know this about me ... I absolutely LOVE Zumba!!!

I got hooked a few years ago and fell off the band wagon.

Well I am back ... and absolutely LOVE my new Zumba teachers Cori and Jeremiah!

Since Christmas I have lost 20+ pounds and these 2 teachers/motivators were a BIG part of that!!!
I entered the Biggest Loser contest at work and came in 3rd out of 55 people.

Because of this I decided to make some thank you cards ...
I used tags from my Zumba shirts with neon splash and washi tape.

ENJOY!!!
(and if you haven't tried Zumba you REALLY should!!! - it's FUN!!!)

New Use for Washi Tape

Yesterday I was busy working in my craft room ... when it happened!
A PAPER CUT!!! ... ouch ... and a deep one!

I was sooo wrapped up in what I was doing, I did not want to stop to get a band-aid ... but I also didn't want blood on my project (it was not for halloween  :)  )

So I put a piece of washi tape on it and continued on my merry way!!!  :)

Once the project was completed I headed to the bathroom and cleaned it up and put a real band-aid on it ...

Just one more use of Washi Tape!!!  :)

ENJOY!

Anything but a Card!

This week over on the A*Muse Challenge Blog the theme is to create anything but a card.

So I thought I would share one of the projects at my recent workshop --- a post-it note holder made from an upside down acrylic frame.

I saw this at a stamp convention a few years back and decided to make it my own.

I took the Script Background and stamped that on Pebble cardstock and slipped that into the frame.  Then stamped Just for You and die cut out that vintage label.

The key FUN element here is the WASHI TAPE!!!
Do you see it on the frame and then coordinating on the washi tape covered pencil!!!!

ENJOY!
