Bunnies Driving Cards
Today's featured set and sadly the last one for TAC's Fabulous February Promo is the Joy of Easter.
Today's featured guest designer is Michelle McDaniel. You can see her wonderful samples over on the TAC Savvy Blog.
Now don't get me wrong ... I absolutely LOVE the chick driving the carrot car in this set! However ... I have always wanted to try masking a bunny in to the car. So for today's card that's what I did.
I used the bunny from Springtime Garden. I popped the carrots and the sentiment. I added gems to the wheels and ribbon to the sentiment panel.
ENJOY!
Please be sure to check out these other creations for more inspiration.
Digi Chicks
Happy Easter Chick!
The above chicks are from a background paper created by my friend Christine.
I took only a portion of it and used it on this card. I then added a Fabulous Frame as well as a sentiment from Hoppity Skippity.
I popped the frame and the single chick and added some black gems!
ENJOY!
Springtime Garden
Hoppity Skippity....
I can not wait until spring!!! So today's featured set on the TAC Savvy Blog makes me feel happy!
It's called Springtime Garden and I colored these sweet bunnies with my copics. I added the sentiment from Hoppity Skippity and added Robyn paper and ribbon.
ENJOY!

I used the PWP set from TAC called Older than Dirt and then added what else ... DIRT to the card. The dirt is actually sand (colored as dirt) and the stamp is from the retired TAC set called Under the Sea.
This is the inside of the card.
Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday Traci ... Love Ya!
ENJOY!
Where's the Cardinal?
A lady at work wanted to commission me to make "cardinal" cards for her grandmother who LOVES cardinals. Sure I say ... thinking for SURE that I have a cardinal stamp.
But wait ... I DON'T .... and TAC doesn't make one!
What to do ... What to do???
Well I found this cardinal in the $1 stamps at my local craft store and paired it up with Tree Swing Fun. Doesn't it just look like it goes!!! I added the sentiment from Thinking of You and Viola!
ENJOY!
When I fist saw this sheep in the Spring Friends set, I thought of jumping sheep and counting while trying to go to sleep. Thus I am using it circling a moon. I added a little C1 copic marker to them to add a little color.
Did you notice the sentiment??
Hello Chickie!
Blog Hop - Hostess Sets
Paper Wings is a great community site devoted to The Angel Company. Today they are sponsoring a blog hop focusing on Hostess Sets!
Flowery Thanks!
For my card I used the Level A Hostess set called Basic Blooms.
It's a pretty basic card stamping the bloom in a row and then coloring the flower part with copics.
The sentiment is from Good Things and I matted it on matching cardstock and then black and added a matching hot pink ribbon.
ENJOY!

We get together in about a month and a half again ... I wonder what theme we could come up with then!
ENJOY!
Today's Featured set is Sunshine. Today's TAC Savvy Guest Designer is Barb Foster ... one of my fav TAC Designers! Her stuff is always sooo cool ... and often Halloween/Gothic themed!
For my card I stamped the sunflower over and over again on cream cardstock. I then stamped another one and cut out with my oval Nestability. I then pop-dotted that and added the green cardstock and the tan ribbon. I stamped the "happiness" sentiment up the side of the card.
9 months
9 Years
My how time flies! I remember 10 years ago like it was yesterday! I can not believe that my little guy Chase turns double digits today. The big 1-0!
I love you so much! We sure have had our ups and downs and struggled through some health issues ... but you are the best thing in my life! Can't wait to see what 10 more years brings you!
Happy Birthday ... you will always be my little buddy!
This card makes me happy and long for the sun and warmer temps!!
The set Sunflowers is the featured set on the TAC Savvy Blog today. Guest Designer Maria Van Stratton created some wonderful creations using this set.
For my card I used the Sunflower set in addition to the Pretty Posie set (swirls on blue) and Good Things (sentiment). I colored the image with my copics and sponged most everything with Cognac Palette ink. I added ribbon and gems. Viola!
Did you notice my colors in my card??? Did you like them? I do! I used these colors as a part of Kerry Urbatch's Color Challenge this week. So I am entering this card for her challenge as well.
ENJOY!

Well it is Debra Miller's day! She is the guest designer featured on the TAC Savvy web site today.
Today's featured set is a Level C Hostess set called Simply Sweet. Normally you would have to host a $500 to qualify for this set. But this month since it is a featured set you can purchase it for $14.96 ... what a great deal for those of you who love the hostess sets!
For this card I used the Simply Sweet set for both the image and the sentiment. I paper-pieced the dresses and colored them with copics. For a special touch I took my paper piercer and poked holes which I came back and threaded floss though. I added brads on the ends and then fluffed the ends of the floss.
ENJOY!
Check out more ways to use this set below.
I am really bummed the weekend is almost over ... I had so many hopes of completing a bunch of tasks this weekend ... I have a to do list a mile long and have only made a dent so far!
Here is a card that I have been meaning to post ... it uses the Stamp of the Month called Ruffles. This month it is on special for only $7.95. I love the sentiment .. "never under estimate the warmth of a cold nose". That is soooo true!
I stamped this on kraft cardstock using Rich Cocoa Memento ink. I then added some color with my copics. I added so ribbon and a button. I love the look of this button on the bow.
ENJOY!
Love at all Times!
This week has been hard in so many ways. I am so happy to have good friends and people stopping by my blog. It makes me very happy!
I thought I'd play along with Heather Scott's sketch for the week. (See Below)
I used Thinking Sweet Thoughts Hostess set for this card. I love this image and the sentiment goes so well and is so appropriate this week.
The flower is a Sizzix die ... that I have had for a little bit and have been dieing to test out! I love it! I added the leaves too.
ENJOY!
Fundamental Frames
Thanks!
For this card I used 2 Fundamental Frames. One that I cut in half and one that I used whole for the sentiment (from the set Good Things). I used a coordinating Nestability to cut out the frame and made a larger matted one as well. I added a flower with a button that had scrapper's floss tied through it.
Simple and Elegant!
Today's set featured on the TAC Savvy Website is Fundamental Frames ... please go visit what Yuki has created ... it is FABULOUS and she has definitely kicked it up a few notches from "fundamental".

I just got a FREE copy of Scrap & Stamp Arts in the mail today. Which means it 's time to FIND MY CARD!!! (I'll help you out -- it's on page 19)
I sent in this card last October and it was published!
It uses the package from Jingle Jolly and the sentiment from Ordinary Greetings.
ENJOY!
Today's featured set on TAC Savvy is Sew Thankful and today's guest designer is Paula Kay Bourland.
For this card I took the dress form and stamped it but then stamped it upside down along the bottom for a decorative effect! I love using my stamps in different ways to create new images!
Hello Chickie!
For those that know me pretty well, I call a lot of my friends/co-workers "chickie".
This I love this sentiment ... and how better to pair it than with a bunch of cute chicks!!!
The sentiment is from Hoppity Skippity and the image is from today's featured set Cup of Love.
I kept the card pretty simple and plain. Colored with my copics and added a little bling to each chick's bow. Matted the card on a bright green cardstock.
ENJOY!
Today's Featured set over on the TAC Savvy Blog is Cup of Love. Please visit that site and some of the other people's blogs to see more creations with this set!

Needing some sunshine!!!
Ok .. I am through with SNOW!!! Bring on spring!
We had quite a blizzard here on Tuesday/Wednesday and thus I wanted to make a card full of sunshine! I played along with Heather Scott's sketch for this card and loved how it turned out with the yellows and browns. I used the set called Sunshine and colored it with my copics. I sponged the edges with Cognac Palette ink.
Here are some of the pics of our winter wonderland from earlier this week:
ENJOY!
Do you know what retiform is? Have you ever tried it?
It's a great and fast way to make a card with lots of stamps/effects. You use post-it notes to section off sections of your cardstock. then you sponge ink and stamp away. Here is a video if you'd like to see more.
So here is my card:
I used Claret, L'Amor Red, and Noir for sponging in my sections. I stamped all of the images in the Memento and colored them with copics.
I had a ton of fun thinking up and making this card.
You should try out retiform today!!!
Watercolor Plants
Thinking of You
Today on the TAC Savvy Blog, Holly Mays made some wonderful creations with the Watercolor Plants set. I love to stamp with that set and then stamp off making a lighter image of that stamp.
I added the dot border with Background Soup and a sentiment from Thinking of You.
It's a simple, monocolor card ... but lovely and easy!
ENJOY!
You MUST MUST MUST go over to the TAC Savvy Blog see all of the details on how I made these cards and to see all of the wonderful activity pages inside of this kid's book .... and while you are over there you should really leave a comment for me :)
