Happy World Card Making Day!
Here is my entry for Kim's Just Johanna Contest.
I call it my "Aquafina Card". For this challenge we were to recycle some materials on our card. I used the packaging from my Aquafina Water. The "U" was die cut from the corrugated case that the bottles come in using my Sizzix. The strip along the bottom was also made from the corrugated case. The tag is made out of the plastic Aquafina water bottle and I die cut that on my Sizzix as well. It was hard to see the tag so I used Alcohol inks on it to color it and then stamped "Friend" using White StazOn ink. The tag was tied to the card using Scrapper's Floss.
The "Thank" was stamped using the TAC Simple Bet alphabet.
Here is my entry for Kerry's Just Johanna Contest.
Kerry's challenge was to use the elements: Water, Fire, Air, Land (earth) on your card. This was a little challenging for me but i decided to depict this with the colors of cardstock. Blue Water (cuttlebugged), Red Fire, Tan Land, and the swirls that are stamped for air. I love the Hoppy Everything set from TAC. I seem to go to it for a lot of ideas and inspiration. The frog is pop-dotted to give the illusion that he is "hopping". I used the Swirl from TAC's Spring Dream set.
Here is my entry for Angie's Contest.
It is a pop-up halloween Card using the new Trick or Treaters stamp set from TAC's Fall Supplement. It is a pop-up card that I learned how to make from Hero Arts on my MOA trip last month. I stamped the skeleton on white glossy paper with Versamark and then let him dry. After a while you then brayer him with black ink. When he is opened and pops up the card says Trick or Treat.
