3. Kaleidoscope Kit - For $34.95 you can get a limited Edition Stamp Set (Kaleidoscope Words) and 3 paper sets ... It is a GREAT package deal! ... You won't want to miss this one ... the offer ends on October 31st!
This was done for Christie's fall ATC swap over on the Stamp Shack. I used a paper piercer to make all of the holes in the circle mat (I really like this look!) The autumn leaf and word are an old TAC GWP from years past. The background leaf is from the TAC Mini Sampler set. I added 3 copper brads to the bottm edge ... Very fun and very fall!
This card was made for another new friend of mine (Barb - Gramma Stamper) using translucent embossing paste. I was supposed to show her how to use it while we were at MOA ... but we never found the time! First I inked the image through the stencil ... then you add the clear embossing paste. It takes about 1/2 hour to dry and then you have a beautifully colored and raised image (also very shiny!) ... the sentiment is from the TAC Tag Tidbits set.
I scrap-lifted this card from some TAC swap that I had done. I have to tell you that it just might be one of my favorite card layouts yet ... and oh so easy. It uses 3 TAC sets: Tag Tidbits, Calendar, and Wishing You. the background paper that I used on this was from TAC's Vintage Holiday paper collection. Throw on a circle tag and staples and you have your card! Love it!
I fell in love with this holiday flourish the moment that I saw it in the new TAC catalog. It is from the Holiday Magic set. I stamped it in Landscape Green Palette ink and then accented it with Red Stickles. I added some red grossgrain ribbon with a knot in it and then a strip of paper again from the Vintage Holiday Paper Collection.
I can't believe that it's been a week since I have been home from MOA and Scrapfest. I had a wonderful time meeting all of my Shackie friends. Everyone came from all over the country. Me from IL, Traci from OH, Robin & Chris from MI, Joanie and Lesa from MA, Sherri, Patty, & Ellie from NC, Joanne from TN, Angie & Mary from UT, Cindy & Tracy from IA, Tonii from CA, Lidia from MN (not too far), and Barb from Canada.
We had a wonderful time .... Things that I will remember about this trip:
1. Coming face to face with a Deer in my Headlights (and MISSING it) and Barb missing it behind me and Traci missing it behind them ... lucky us .. lucky deer!
2. Funny one liners - Joanie - "I don't do Chat" and mulitple ones from Tonii and Sherri
3. Emergency Room Visit in the middle of the night ... I had a rash develop right before I left on the trip .. it only seemed to get worse as the weekend went on. Everyone was very sweet in helping me through this ordeal .. still don't know exactly what it was!
4. Shackie Friends ... although none of us have never met in person before ... it just seemed as if I knew these women forever and these will be great friendships for the years to come ... hopefully we can organize another one of these next year!!!
The next special is our "Remember September" Special .. For $24.95 you can get a limited Edition Stamp Set (Stamping Girls) and paper, hardware, cardstock, and ribbon ... It is a GREAT package deal! ... You won't want to miss this one ... the offer ends on September 30th!

"Cherry-Oh - Happy Birthday"
I stamped the cherries (GWP) on the white square with Palette Noir ink and then also stamped them on red and green cardstock. I cut the red cherries out and the green leaf out and adhered them on the white. I mounted the white piece on red and then black card stock. I edged all of the pieces with Pallete Noir ink and then adhered to my patterned paper.
I cut another strip of the red cardstock and randomly stamped Happy Birthday with the TAC Squiggle Ladybug set.
I really liked how it came out.
Again I used my GWP stamps on this card. I randomly stamped the butterfly using Palette Giverney Green on cream cardstock. The crdstock was then mounted on chipboard to give it some depth. I edged the cream in Palette Cote D'Azure ink and mounted it on green cardstock(also edged with Cote D'Azure). I then mounted it on my patterned paper.
I cut a strip of cream cardstock and stamped Happy Birthday using my TAC Little Tidbits set.
I really like the way that this turned out too (and with FREE stamps).
When I started this card I was not trying for a masculine card but I think it turned out that way. I stamped the Fleur GWP with Palette Beaux Arts Blue ink and then edged the cardstock with the Beaux Arts Blue as well. I mounted that on my patterned paper.
Then I took a metal rimmed tag and punched a cream circle to fit on top. Before adhereing I stamped another Fleur de Lis and then stamped happy b-day in Pallete Noir right on top. I then adheared this on top of the tag and punched a hole and added fiber.
It was a quick and very easy card and again ... as an added bous the stamp was FREE!
I hope this inspired you to pull out those FREE GWPs and experiment. See what you can design ... send me an email with what you created ... I would love to see.
One of the goals was to index our TAC stamps with each others stamps ... we accomplished this and also worked on circle jourmals ... mine was the one for her ... we were supposed to say 6 unique things about us ....
I used the TAC Circle Sampler set on her page and accented with primas and stickles. I really like the wasy that it turned out ... and I think she did too. She was soo excited to have her book back (I was the last entry) ... now she gets to decorate the cover.
Circle Journals are very fun. I was a little intimidated at first but then I loved them ... they are quick and easy and I love seeing what everyone else did in them! Angie is the one that started us on these over at the Shack ... careful ... once you start you may become addicted!
