Sock Monkey Madness
Today my BFF Kim and I (along with Jenni) went to Sock Monkey Madness here in my hometown of Rockford, IL. Did you know that the sock monkey was originated in Rockford, IL. It was and every year they host this wonderful Sock Monkey event! You can make your own sock monkey, learn all about the sock monkey, and buy just about anything for the sock monkey!

We started with breakfast at the Stockholm Inn and posed with the sock monkey.

Then it was off to Midway Village, where we had signed up to make our own sock monkey. We chose to make the special sock bunny though and Jenni made a monkey.

I named mine Izzy!

Here are their pom-pom butts.

Did you know that TAC makes sock monkey stamps? I might just have to pick these up now that I have fallen in love with these cute and cuddly guys!

Thanks Kim for a GREAT day!!!!

  5. I made my oldest daughter a sock monkey several years ago. She has always been a sock monkey fan ever since she was a toddler and now she's almost 37. If we lived closer I would loved to have taken her to this event - it looks like so much fun!!!
