Funny Story

Instead of posting a project today, I have a very funny papercrafting moment happened to me today that I want to share.

I am trying to complete my Circle Journal
pages (kind of like a scrapbook page) for Shackapalooza that is happening next week.

I have been traveling for work for the past 3 days. Last night I decided to cut out all of the pieces and then today I would just take the pieces and adhesive with me on the plane (no scissors) and assemble.

It was a cramped plane but I managed to pull some stuff out and assemble. The male stewardess walks up and down the aisle and then I could tell he stopped right by me and was staring ... I looked up wondering if I was in trouble or something.

He says "Mam ... aren't you a little OLD to be scrapbooking!!!!" .... I looked at him ... totally stunned and said "NO ... this is what I like to do for my hobby." He walked away ... I was soooo stunned!!! But I also was laughing!!! Am I too old for this??? How old is too old to be scrapbooking???? I AM going to turn 40 this year!!!

I got off the plane and told my boss what happened ... he said you should have said "Aren't you a little MANLY to be a stewardess???"

I hope to be scrapbooking and papercrafting until well into my golden years!!!!

What a fun story - I needed some cheer this am and that sure started my morning off to the right start. Stories are as good as pcitures sometimes. Thanks for sharing.

OH my goodness Chelsea! I can't believe he said that to you! That is a good question....how old is too old? I will be right with you in my golden years! I am going to be sitting at my table until my hands won't let me do it anymore! :)
