Hello Baby
Enjoy the Ride
This card is from the new TAC set called Bug of Fun. There is a VW Bug convertible in this set and a whole bunch of critters to put in the car! It's a fun fun set. I put the dog in the driver's seat. I colored this with Copics and pop-dotted it off of the white rectangle and then also pop dotted the fenders off of the car giving it a wonderfl 3-D effect. I added black gems to the wheels and the sentiment is alsofrom that set.
Enjoy .... more tomorrow!!!
Hang in There
This image is from the new set called Wonder and Joy (see entire set below). I colored her with my Copics. I added this sentiment from a retired set (I thought it fit perfectly). I added gems to the bottom and a pink and white striped grosgrain ribbon. I love these new guys .... so much fun to color!
Enjoy ...... more tomorrow .......
Starting today I will preview new stamp sets from our catalog for the next 7 days. TAC offered the chance for demos to pre-order some of the sets in the new and upcoming Spring Magalogue Serendipity. I made a few projects with these new stamps and I am so excited to share them with you. I can not wait to have the new Spring Magalogue available at the end of January! If you would like to pre-order your copy, please let me know!
Kitty with Cupcake
This image is from 1 of 3 new sets by Mabelle in Serendipity. She is a designer for TAC.
Have you heard that TAC has 2 new designers - one that designs for children's books and one that designs for Disney ... how exciting!!
I loved this kitty when I saw it ... and I normally am not a cat person. I colored him with copics and Stardust Gelly Pen on top of the cupcake. I used circles, scalloped circles, and Labels #3 Nestability to mat the kitty. Have you heard that in the new Serendipity we will be caring Nestabilities!!!! I added a few gems that I colored with my copics to match. The sentiment is also from a new set called Savvy Sentiments. (see below)
Enjoy .... more tomorrow .....
Boys Christmas
I know the Holiday is over ... but I wanted to share this last card with you. I love these little guys from the TAC set Holiday Boys. I colored them with copic markers and then mounted them on a scalloped rectangle. I added black grosgrain and this cute patterned paper. The sentiment is from Tag Tidbits.
That's all for Christmas until next year .....
Treats!
This is made of a 4" x 12" strip (you can make 3 out of a 12"x12" piece of cardstock) and scored with the ScorPal. Then all of the corners were rounded with the Corner Chomper.
A circle is cut out of the front and I put acetate in the window. I punched red metallic circles out for decoration and then stamped the tree from Joy of Christmas TAC stamp set and edged the sides with green ink. I added green stickles to the top star. "Happy Holidays" is from the Everyday Events set and is stamped in white ink and embossed.
The Dove Chocolates (milk and dark chocolate - YUM!) were placed in a bag and threaded through the half circle punched at the top. It was tied with red grosgrain ribbon.
On the back I stamped "created by Chelsea" .... might as well take credit for it right?? And I attached a tag with their name (it helped when passing these out).
This isn't all 50 of them ... but I just loved the look of them all together!
Enjoy .. and spread good cheer! Merry Christmas!
Happy Snowflakes
Here is another card from my Christmas Card Open House. The picture does not do this card justice ... but that is because the base is acetate. I stamped Ornamental Snowflakes on a piece of white cardstock in 3 different shades of blue. I added a little bling with the Stardust Gelly pen. This was then matted on a blue cardstock. The sentiment is on the outside of the card and I added a punched snowflake with stickles on it. The inside has another blue scalloped rectangle with white space for you to write your message/sign. It actually only looks hard ... it's such a simple card. Viola!
Glassy Ornaments
This is another card that we made at my recent Christmas Card Open House. It is also very easy and fun. It uses stamps from the Simple Joys and I stamped it with black ink and colored the image with Copics. I then colored over the ornaments with a Versamark pen. After that you add clear embossing powder and heat. The ornaments become "glassy". I then sponged some extra green ink around the edges of the ornaments. Then I stamped the sentiments in plack and added embossing powder to those as well. Matted it on green cardstock and viola! Quick and easy!
Country Christmas
I made this card at my recent Christmas Card Open House. It is very sweet and easy. It uses a stamp from Homespun Holiday and I embossed it with clear embossing powder. That helps when you color the image. It keeps the color "in" the image. For this card I colored it with BIC markers (nothing fancy). I matted the wreath on red and then put it on green gingham paper. Quick and easy!
Winter 2010 - Just Cards
I just received another copy of Just Cards in the mail ... so that must mean I was published again. Yes .. to my suprise they put a card in there that I had forgotten that I had submitted. I had taught this card in some of my FunShops and everyone loved it so I thought I'd send it in.
Sweet Birthday Wishes
This card used the cupcake and sentiment from Little Cupcake.
This edition should be out later in January 2010.
Thanks for allowing me to share and toot a little!
New Bra Size
My girlfirend this week will be having a boob job. We were joking last week about how she needed to invest in a bunch of new bras. Well to make it a little easier, I got her a $25 gift certificate to Victoria's Secret. How could I give her the gift certificate without a "bra" card to go with it???
This just proves that you can make a card for ANY occaision!
Santa Mini Bag
I made this cute bag for a "gift bag swap". It utilizes one of my new favorite holiday stamp sets, Vintage Santa. I stamped him in black using Versafine ink. I then punched him out and mounted him on a scalloped circle. I then stamped snowflakes (from the same set) on the red cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on a white strip. All of the pieces were sponged on the edges with black ink. I added a little tag with to and from and a couple more snowflakes. The tage was tied to the bag with scrapper's floss.
Looking for a nice, fun, and fast tag for the season?
I die cut this tag with my Sizzix (but you can use your favorite tag die or punch). I used the Holly Jolly set. I sponged the edges with green ink. I stamped the sentiment with red ink along with the holly berries. I stamped the holly leaves in green. I then went over all of the words and leaves with the Stardust Gel pen for some added bling. Tied the red cord through the tag and Viola!!!
This is a great set and it is only $2.95 with any $30 TAC purchase. A Great Value!!!
I am also offering this project as a set on Etsy and it includes everything to make 10 tags and then you will still have the stamps and you can continue to make more tags! A Great offer!
A lot of my followers have been asking if I would consider selling some of my items on Etsy. Well ... I've finally done it. Follow the side bar to see the current items that I have available or visit my Etsy store at http://www.etsy.com/shop/ChelseaCC
The items in there today are for stamp kits to make either tags or cards. I recently had these for sale at my Christmas Card Open House and at another Craft Open House. Enjoy and watch for more items soon!
What's Up
I made this card for a masculine card swap. I seem to have a hard time with masculine cards. Even this robot had a heart on it's stomach that made it more feminine. I punched a small black circle to cover that up.
This robot stamp is from the Robot stamp set by TAC. The gear was made from a scalloped circle punch and the ends clipped off. I colored him with copic markers and added white eyelets to the sentiment block.
What do you think? Masculine? Still thinking it's a little feminine.
