Celebrate!!!!

Today we celebrate another Blog Hop on Paper Wings website. This assignment was to use the new stamp set Little Cupcake. This was not a problem for me since it is one of my new favorite sets.

Yummy Cupcakes

For this card I wanted to stamp multiple cupcakes on it. One way to do this is to make a mask.

Here is a mask that I stamped on a post-it and cut out.

Once you stamp an image you then add the mask and then stamp on top of it. This creates some illusion of cupcakes being in front of each other.

I stamped all of these cupcakes and the sentiment in Palette Claret ink. I then colored the cupcakes with colored pencils and OMS. I added Crystal Lacquer to the cherries for a 3D dimensional effect. I mounted the image on pink and then on a brown. I added a few ribbon tags off of the end to dress it up a bit.

Here are a few more samples that I have made with this set:

Girl - this is SO cute! I love that you used the cupcake so many times! I'm not surprised, as you have so many great ideas! By the way, Chelsea - I loved your swap card this month! I've been struggling with different ways to use those edge stamps, and now I have one!!!

I love it. I think all those cupcakes look super yummy! What a terrific card!
