Yesterday was fun!

I had a lot of fun yesterday making cards for World Card Making Day!

Today I continue with a few more. What could be better than World Card Making WEEKEND!!!

This is for another Just Johanna challenge. It was a sketch that you needed to use to make a birthday card.

This was the Sketch ....

And this was my version of it!

I used some scraps of my Doodlebug birthday paper and my Doodlebug Birthday Stamps. I really like how it turned out. Simple and Fun!

This is for another Just Johanna challenge. It was a challenge to use Paper Piecing ... well anyone that know me knows that I LOVE to paper piece. So to step up to the challenge even more I took a very challenging stamp and paper pieced it!

The stamp is by Imaginations! It is called Spring Sampler. I stamped the image on white, blue, purple, pink, yellow, green, tan, and a shimmery vellum. Then the fun begins!!! You cut out pieces of each in the colors that you want. For example the background to the bee was cut from blue and then the body was cut from yellow and then the wings were cut from the shiny vellum. You then adhere all of them on top of each other on the white. It takes a while but the end result is AMAZING! There were some spots that were too hard to paper piece so I used my Prisma alcohol markers. Thanks for the challenge!

This is for another Just Johanna challenge. It was a challenge to use another sketch.

This was the Sketch ....

And this was my version of it!

I just got this great new set from TAC called Spooktacular. I colored the image using my water color crayons. The background paper is from TACs Simply Spooky paper collection. I added some dimension to the circles by putting orange brands through them.

This is for another Just Johanna challenge. It was a challenge to use Color Blocking on your card.

I used TAC's Enjoy Today set and TAC's Finger Paint Paper for my color blocking. The paper worked well since they are designed to coordinate with each other. I colored the image with watercolor crayons.

This is for another Just Johanna challenge. It was a challenge to use a slide mount on your card.

I covered the slide mount with sage green paper and then stamped on it with polka dots. The flower image is from TAC's Beautiful Place set. I colored it with water color crayons. The sentiment is from TAC's Little Tidbit set. To add the final touch to the card I tied ribbon around the slide mount and around the main image. The background paper is from TAC's Country Cottage paper collection.

This is for another Just Johanna challenge. It was a challenge to use an unususal fold on your card.

For this card I did a take on a gate fold card for the Fall. I used TAC's Charcoal Leaves stamp set for this project. The "Fall" was stamped using Simple Bet. and the interior saying came from TAC's All Things of Nature set. I used Palette Cognac, Burnt Umber, and Burnt Sienna as the inks. The scallop squares were cuttle on my Big Shot with a cuttlebug die. These closure tabs were pop-dotted for an extra 3D effect.
