Today we returned home from our late summer vacation to Michigan. It was a lot of fun although rainy. We stayed a few days at my parent's house on the beach and then went over to Detroit to catch a Detroit Tigers Game. It was a very fun trip ... but I think we are all happy to be home now and OUT of the car!

Here is Chase in front of Tigers Stadium. The Tigers are his favorite baseball team and they beat the Indians last night 2-1 putting them only 1/2 game behind the leader (the Indians).

We had a lot of time that we spent indoors since it was raining for a good part of our trip. I was prepared and brought stamps, inks, and papers. Here are two ATCs that I created on our trip.

This one is for a TAC ATC swap entitled "Kid's Birthday". I stamped "waves" using Reflection Blue ink and the flourish stamp from TAC's Hostess C set "spring dream".

The frog was stamped on green paper with noir ink using the stamp from "Hoppy Everything". I also stamped him again on white and cut out the eyes and attached. He appears to be "hopping" off of the card since I pop-dotted is body with foam and then adheared down his hands and feet.

This ATC was for a swap on PCMB entitiled "half inchies" these snowman squares measure 1/2" x 1/2" and we were to attach 6-9 of them to an ATC. I used TAC's mini sampler set and colored the snowmen's scarves with prismacolor markers.

I stippled the cardstock with Reflection Blue ink and stamped Let it snow in Reflection Blue as well. The half inchies were edged with black ink.

More rainy day projects will be posted tomorrow .... including ... stamping on rocks from the beach!
